Gujranwala: Exhibition gives young artists a platform for creative expression

(Dunya News) - Gujranwala’s School of Art and Design hosted a colourful painting exhibition displaying the creativity of their students.

The exhibition organised by the Arts Council Gujranwala attracted many visitors, especially women.

Displaying art painted in different mediums from pastels, oil on canvas to watercolours, students expressed their imagination through their creative brush strokes. Showcasing different themes including calligraphy, landscapes and portraits, the exhibition was well attended by art enthusiasts.

Visitors were impressed by the creative work displayed at the exhibition leaving some inspired by the work of the painters.

Speaking to Dunya News, painters said that they have used the canvas and brush strokes to paint their imaginations.

“I am very impressed by the talent and the creativity of these painters and I would also wish to learn to paint like them," said a visitor.

Such initiatives and mediums for emerging painters to express their creativity, such as by the Arts Council Gujranwala, could prove to be a stepping stone for young artists.
