(Web Desk) - The tech giant Google has denied all social media rumours that it is going to stop offering Gmail services.

According to information, a screenshot of an unverified email was shared on social media site X, along with a notice indicating that Gmail's services will soon come to an end.

Nevertheless, part of this screenshot was used to disseminate false information about Gmail, and it came from a genuine email that Google prepared to remove the basic Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) view.

The message claims that the firm notified customers of a significant Gmail update — namely, that the service will be shut down in a matter of hours.

Since Google said that some of its services, which are widely used, will be discontinued, the public received this phoney news as genuine.

Google has produced a page titled "killed by Google," on which the corporation enumerates all 293 products whose prices were later lowered.

But in response to all of these fake posts, Google just said one thing: "Gmail is here to stay."
