In a video statement, the singer stated that those spreading the news should have directly contacted her or obtained information from her family.
She said that the fake news of her death not only caused her mental distress but also caused great anxiety to her family members in Afghanistan.
Haseeba Noor appealled to people to refrain from spreading such unconfirmed news and assured them that she is safe and secure in Pakistan.
The singer also mentioned that her mobile phone was lost in the accident, which prevented her from updating people about her well-being in a timely manner.
