TAXILA (Web Desk) – A TikToker was killed and her sister injured in a gun attack near Taxila Bypass here on Saturday.
Armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on a vehicle near Taxila Bypass, killing famous TikToker Ayesha Gilamna and seriously injuring her 15-year-old sister.
According to initial reports, 28-year-old Ayesha Gilamna alias Shamsu was traveling from Taxila to Rawalpindi with her sister when armed men on a motorcycle targeted her vehicle. As a result of the shooting, Ayesha Gilamna was hit by bullets and died on the spot.
The victim's 15-year-old sister was also seriously injured in the incident and was transferred to PIMS Hospital, Islamabad. Ayesha Gilamina quickly became popular on social media for her videos and also earned income from TikTok.
Following the incident, the police have launched an investigation, while efforts are underway to arrest the suspects involved in the shooting. The reasons for the murder are still unknown.
