MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit is set to return to television as a host after a 24-year hiatus, taking on the role for the upcoming Marathi quiz show ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’.
According to Indian media reports, Dixit will host the new quiz programme, which is the Marathi adaptation of the popular game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, hosted by Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.
The show’s makers released its first promotional video, featuring Dixit in a traditional Maharashtria look.
In the promo, the actress can be seen wearing a green-and-gold sari paired with traditional gold jewellery and a Maharashtrian-style nose ring.
Speaking in Marathi, Dixit introduces the show and hints at an exciting new chapter for viewers across Maharashtra.

“Something that has never happened before is about to happen,” she says in the promo, announcing that a new conversation will begin in homes across Maharashtra as she brings ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’ to audiences.

She said she was thrilled to present a game show centred on knowledge, dreams and possibilities.
