(Web Desk) - Supermodel and reality TV star Kendall Jenner has spoken out for the first time about long-running rumors surrounding her sexual orientation, calling the online speculation “mean” and unnecessary.
The 30-year-old addressed the issue during a podcast, where she acknowledged that a section of social media frequently labels her as a lesbian. Jenner said the tone of such commentary is what troubles her most.
“There’s a whole side of the internet that thinks I’m a lesbian,” she said. “What really bothers me is how aggressive and unkind people are about it. It’s not welcoming at all.”
Jenner clarified that she does not identify as gay but emphasized that she would not hide her identity if that were the case. “Knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I’d be out if I was,” she explained, adding that while coming out is not easy, she believes in living honestly.
The model also dismissed the narrative that being open about one’s sexuality could be harmful to a career. “I don’t understand that idea at all,” she said. “As of today, I am not, and I don’t think I will be, but I’m not closing doors to experiences in life.”
Over the years, Jenner has been romantically linked to several high-profile figures, including singer Harry Styles, NBA star Devin Booker, and rapper Bad Bunny, whom she reportedly parted ways with in late 2023.
Despite sharing candid thoughts on the podcast, Jenner reiterated her desire to keep her personal relationships private. “For me, relationships are sacred,” she said. “When they become public, everything just gets messier.”
