Qaseeda Burda Shareef was penned by Al Busiri in praise of the worthy Prophet (PBUH)
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Singer Ali Zafar has won hearts with beautiful rendition of Qaseeda Burda Shareef in the holy month.
“A humble effort, crafted with love and deep respect for our beloved Prophet (PBUH),” Zafar writes on Instagram.
The video has garnered thousands of views and the singer won applause.
Qaseeda Burda Shareef (Ode to the Mantle) was penned by Al Busiri in praise of the worthy Prophet (Peace be upon him).
It is believed that the ailing poet recited the poem with deep veneration and Prophet (Peace be upon him) appeared in his dream and wrapped his mantle around him. The next morning the poet discovered that Allah Almighty has cured him.
