(Web Desk) - Jimmy Donaldson known more popularly as MrBeast has earned a coveted distinction of the most subscribed channel on YouTube by surpassing the Indain renowned music label T-Series.

The 26-year-old has created a unique feat by amassing 269 million subscribers.

The T-Series had held the record of most YouTube subscription for nearly five years before Mr Beast taking the title.

Around 800 videos have been uploaded on the YouTube channel of Mr Beast. These include giving away private islands, being buried alive, and staging a real-life version of the Squid Game.
MrBeast has already grown by three million subscribers after surpassing the T-Series.

In a post on X, he said, “After 6 years we have finally avenged Pewdiepie.” Afterward, he also mentioned how his channel spiked in subscribers on June 1.

“Yesterday was the most subscribers we’ve ever gotten in a day,” with over 11 million people clicking the subscribe button in the 24-hour period. Moreover, he also shared a screenshot showing how his channel normally receives between six million and eight million subscribers each day.

Who is MrBeast?

Born in Wichita, Kansas, Jimmy Donaldson gained recognition for his fast-paced videos featuring challenges and giveaways. He was merely 13 when he began his YouTube channel in 2012. However, it was in 2017 when one of his videos garnered over 10,000 views in just a few days.
