Singer and actress Janet Jackson paid tribute to her late brother Michael, following a Los Angeles courts involuntary manslaughter conviction of his personal doctor Conrad Murray on Monday (November 7).The Control singer kicked off the South African leg of her Number Ones Up Close and Personal tour with a concert at Johannesburgs Teatro at Montecasino concert hall.The singer played the music video to Scream, the duet she shared with Michael on his album HIStory Past, Present, and Future, Book I.Murray faces up to four years behind bars when he is sentenced on November 29 but may spend only months in Los Angeles overcrowded cells.Murray pleaded not guilty to giving the Thriller singer a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol -- normally used in surgery -- that was ruled the main cause of his death at the age of 50.Prosecutors argued Murray was grossly negligent in administering the propofol to help Jackson sleep. Defense lawyers claimed Jackson delivered the fatal dose to himself.At her last concert in Australia on Tuesday (November 8) night, before flying to South Africa and hours after Murrays guilty verdict she told the crowd justice had been served.Janet Jackson fans flew from all over the world to get a glimpse of the Rhythm Nation singer.
