(Web Desk) - On October 28, American actress Indya Moore was taken into custody at New York City’s Grand Central Terminal.
This incident occurred at a protest organised by Jewish Voice for Peace, a Jewish group advocating for pro-Palestine causes.
While police officers were apprehending Indya Moore, they did not resist and continued to voice their support for Palestine by saying, “Let Gaza live.” A video shared by an X user shows Indya vehemently protesting for Gaza, as the police detain them.
The actress had previously called out people on social media, inviting them to attend the protest and raise their voices for the war-stricken people of Gaza.
They said that the fates of Palestinians and Israelis are inextricably linked, and that “true safety can only come from justice, equality, and freedom for all.”
Alongside Andrew Garfield, Florence Pugh, Oscar Isaac, and Joaquin Phoenix, Indya Moore was among the celebrities who signed a letter to the president of the United States Joe Biden, in which they urged him to vouch for ceasefire in Gaza and put a stop to the violence.
