Item songs are part of our movies since the start of film industry
LAHORE (Web Desk) - Renowned actor and playwright Yasir Hussain said that the item songs are part of our culture.
The actor recently gave an interview in which he extensively talked about his career and wife Iqra Aziz.
“It is wrong to say that item numbers are not part of our culture. They are very much our part,” Hussain said.
We have seen phenomenal dance performances in the past on the songs of Noor Jehan in our films, he added.
He was of the view that these songs are part of our movies since the start of film industry right after the creation of Pakistan.
“We should invite Reema and Resham on our award shows for dance performances,” said the actor.
Talking about the age difference with his wife Iqra Aziz, he said that it is better to have age difference with your life partner.
“There should be some age difference between husband and wife as one must be mature enough in this relationship,” he said.
