Wasim Ansari leaves behind widow, son and four daughters

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Renowned artiste Wasim Ansari, whose claim to fame was his parody of former president Pervez Musharraf, passed away in Karachi on Tuesday.

Ansari's son, Kashan Ansari, said his father was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. He had gone to pay utility bills when he suddenly collapsed. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital but he could not survive, said his son.

According to Kashan, his father's funeral prayers were offered at Mariam Masjid, Nauman Grand City, in Gulistan-e-Johar. He was laid to rest after Maghrib.
