KARACHI (Web Desk) - Renowned actor Shahroz Sabzwari has revealed that once he was kidnapped by the White Corolla gang and held hostage in a car for several hours.
On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Shahroz Sabzwari along with his wife Sadaf Kanwal and his parents Behroz Sabzwari and Safina Sabzwari were guests in a private TV program where during the interview the actor revealed that he had fallen into the hands of kidnappers in the past.
The actor said his abduction was planned. The White Corolla gang took him around the streets of Karachi for a whole day and withdrew money from the two ATM cards he had.
According to Shahroz Sabzwari, the accused also took the watch which was given to him by his father Behroz Sabzwari.
He said he was scared for a long time after this incident because if someone takes something from you, you don't feel that much, but if someone kidnaps you and takes you with them, it is a very scary thing.
Behroz Sabzwari further said the gang members could not recognise Shahroz, that's why he was saved. Shahroz had told the gang members that he was a professional person.
