In her three-minute video, the Grammy-winner talked about the pressure that celebrities face to conform to beauty standards and the negative impact it can have on mental health.

She revealed that the body type people are comparing her current body to was the unhealthiest version of her body when she was struggling the most, highlighting the danger of making assumptions about others.

Ms Grande called on her fans to be mindful of their comments about other people's bodies and to find ways to compliment or ignore something that they see that they don’t like.

She emphasized the importance of being gentle with each other and with ourselves, encouraging everyone to embrace their flaws no matter what size they are.

Unfortunately, body shaming is a widespread issue, affecting people of all backgrounds and cultures.

Several local artists have spoken out about their experiences with body shaming, including Zara Noor Abbas, Merub Ali, Ahmad Ali Butt, Hareem Farooq, Hania Aamir, and Qudsia Ali.

They all highlighted the importance of embracing oneself and relinquishing flawed beauty standards.

In a digital world, it is easy for people to bully others while sitting behind a screen, but body shaming can never be acceptable.

We need more celebrities to talk about such issues and call out such people to bring more awareness to people with archaic mindsets who believe it’s alright to comment on others’ bodies.

Ultimately, we all have the power to create a more compassionate and kinder society by being mindful of our words and actions towards ourselves and others.
