Actress Meera announces to enter political arena
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lollywood actress Meera has announced to enter the political arena and joining the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Friday.
According to a statement surfacing on media, she is heartbroken with the world of showbiz and has decided to join politics.
Meera said she has decided to do politics from PTI s platform, adding that she would soon hold a press conference with party leaders in this regard.
It is pertinent to mention here that in a recent statement, actress Meera had said that no one is worthy to marry her, I have no interest in marriage, I will never marry again.
Mentioning the sacrificial meat on the occasion of Eid, Meera said that it should be distributed among the poor and not a single piece should be kept in the fridge.
Earlier in 2013, the actress had announced that she would contest the polls against PTI chairman, Imran Khan and Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s Sarfaraz Nawaz.
Meera had the ‘Black Coat’ as electoral symbol and had reportedly contested for the Lahore constituency NA-126.
