Harry Potter smashes box office record

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final film in the successful series, earned $43.5 million from midnight shows on its opening day.The latest release has also set opening day records in France, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Denmark, Belgium, Finland and Australia. The film is on its way to breaking the opening weekend record of $158.4 million set by The Dark Knight back in 2008.
