Kareena Kapoor trolled for marrying Muslim
Actress Swara Bhasker on Saturday tweeted a photograph of Kareena.
(Web Desk) – The recent cases of sexual violence involving a minor in the Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir and another one of a teenager in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh fuelled a nation-wide outcry, as the tremors of the horrendous crime were felt across different states. After bloodcurdling details were revealed, celebrities jumped in action to demand justice for the victims. Holding a placard, actors and actresses stormed social media over the week, and stood united, ashamed . Joining Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Radhika Apte amongst other, Kareena Kapoor Khan too posted a photographed and asked for justice for the little girl. However, a certain Twitter user shamed her for marrying a Muslim despite being a Hindu.
Actress Swara Bhasker on Saturday tweeted a photograph of Kareena holding a placard asking for the justice for the eight-year-old girl Asifa Bano, who was gang raped and murdered in Jammu and Kashmir s Kathua district. Commenting on Swara’s Twitter post, a social media user shamed Kareena for being married to a Muslim, having a kid with him and naming the child after an Ismalic ruler. "She should be ashamed of the fact that despite being a Hindu is married to a Muslim. Has a child with him and named him Taimur, after a brutal Islamic barbarian," wrote the user.

Hitting back at the troll, Swara defended her Veere Di Wedding co-star Kareena and wrote, "You should be ashamed you exist. That God gave you a brain which you chose to fill with hate and a mouth you chose to spew filth from. You are a shame on India and Hindus. That sh*ts like you feel emboldened to talk this crap publicly is this government s legacy." Angry tweets poured in from celebrities including Sonam Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan and Farhan Akhtar earlier this week after details of the cases were made available.
