Indian high court has dismissed a plea seeking probe into Bollywood star Sridevi's death.

(Web Desk) – Indian high court has dismissed a plea seeking probe into Bollywood star Sridevi’s death on February 24 this year.

A plea filed with Uttar Pradesh high court requested a probe into the death asserting that it was a matter of national interest. However, a bench dismissed the petition stating that both Indian and Dubai police had looked into the matter already.

Sridevi passed away owing to accidental drowning in bathtub during her star in Dubai for a family wedding.

Immediate family of late star asserted that she had passed away owing to a cardiac arrest but forensic report issued by Dubai authorities cleared that it was an accidental death.
