Abdur Razzak aka Nayak Raj dies at 75

Bangladeshi star breathed his last on Monday and died in United Hospital of Dhaka
(Web Desk) – Bangladeshi actor Abdur Razzak died at the age of 75 in United Hospital of Dhaka as he breathed his last suffering from pneumonia.
With old-age complications, Razzak was admitted in the hospital for medical treatment but couldn’t recover. The news of his death was conveyed by Bangladesh Film Directors Association President Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar.
In 1964, the actor settled in East Pakistan now called Bangladesh to pursue a career in acting and made his debut with Behula. In a career of over 500 films, amongst his best are Ananta Prem, Neel Akasher Niche, Etotuku Asha, Swaralipi, Jibon Theke NeyaRongbaz, Baadi Theke Begum, Alor Michhil, Obujh Mon, Dui Poishar Alta Anarkali, Chhutir Ghanta and Oshikkhito. His acted with the likes of Shabnam, Shabana, Anwar Hossain, Sohel Rana, Bulbul Ahmed, Ilias Kanchan and others.
The directors’ association announced halt in work activities for three days to remember his services. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and President Md Abdul Hamid also mourned at his demise.
