The actor-politician clarified that the media has misquoted him.

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Paresh Rawal is in the news once again for continuously changing his remarks, as now the actor has retracted his earlier statement regarding working in Pakistani dramas.

The actor-politician clarified that the media has misquoted him as he had never expressed any will to perform in Pakistan showbiz.

"I never said I want to work in Pakistani films, neither is it my wish. I want to categorically state this. I have been misquoted. I just said that I liked Pakistan’s TV serial ‘Humsafar’ but never said ours are boring. I only said ours are a little slow," Paresh Rawal told.

However, earlier the actor said that: “Yes, I would love to work in Pakistani films and shows. I love all Pakistani TV serials like Humsafar, the way they act, the story, the writing, the language...it’s all good.”

Also, he didn’t appear impressed by the dramas and TV shows made in India. “I feel our shows are boring,” he admitted. Rawal opined that artistes and cricketers never blew up bombs in India, adding art and sports bridge gaps between nations.
