WEB DESK – The demise of Pakistan’s most notable guitarists, Aamir Zaki on June 2 was indeed sad news for the music industry however what really saddened us later was the controversy in the aftermath.

It was first the TV show host Waqar Zaka who lashed out at the artist community for not being there with Zaki in his hard times and most specifically at the moment of his death.

The family members of Aamir Zaki while being really aggrieved over Waqar Zaka s video have come up with real explanation of the aforementioned matter.

As per details, Aamir Zaki’s nephew Daniyal Sohail completely rejected the allegations levelled by Waqar Zaka while he was live streaming the video on Facebook.

Daniyal was of the opinion that the allegations made by Waqar Zaka during his video were completely baseless and that he had no idea whatsoever about the actual facts behind the story.

He let it be known that a guy named Mumtaz who used to be alongside Aamir Zaki most of the times, informed the family about the demise of renowned guitarist.

While speaking up about the dead body being kept at Edhi morgue, Daniyal revealed that the body was shifted to cold storage of Edhi centre in order to keep it safe.

"The dead body of Aamir Zaki was taken for burial after the Fajar prayers however those who were showing off over social media were nowhere to be found at that point of time," Daniyal added.

It is worth mentioning here that Waqar Zaka took to social media in order to disparage the artist community while being present at the Edhi morgue located in the Sohrab Goth area of Karachi where Aamir Zaki’s body was kept.

Waqar Zaka actually was trying to make a point that the after such an illustrious career, Amir Zaki had no one by his side during his last days.

"An artist has no value in Pakistan. Other artists should come and see how the body of Aamir Zaki is being kept. This situation can also come to them," he said.

While responding to Waqar Zaka’s critique, Ali Haider also posted a video on his Facebook account and expressed condolences over Aamir Zaki’s demise.

"Everyone knows that I have been living in the United Staes for over two years now and Hadiqa lives in Lahore. But you [Waqar] were in Karachi. You didn’t know what Zaki was going through. What’s the point of cashing in Zaki’s demise when you know that I am not in Pakistan?" Ali asked anxiously.
