Top 5 Lollywood films that bombed in 2016

In addition to successes on the box office, 2016 saw Lollywood miserably fail also
LAHORE (Web Desk) – With critical acclaim and box office rewards comes disappointment and failures both cinematically and monetarily, here we have five cinema disasters of 2016 before the year concludes.
1 - Sawaal 700 Crore Dollars Ka
Judging the film by the trailer that the production house released, it was a piece of art that was set to be liked by the audience and recover the cost to say the least however, the movie did not impress the cine-goers even the male lead whose work looked promising in the trailer bombed over people’s expectations.
2 - Revenge of The Worthless
Many would agree that ‘Revenge of the Worthless’ was worthless. Harsh eh? Putting it lightly, the narration was not gripping and editing could have been edgier. The movie miserably failed to leave any mark whatsoever on the audience. Jamal Shah, the director was not a first-timer but apparently the judgment this time around could not have gone more wrong.
3 - Teri Meri Love Story
The film somehow gave a sense of having been put together in hassle or else it would not have had that bad of a camera work and even on script-level, more could have been achieved.
4 - Abdullah
‘Abdullah’ on the whole was packaged rightly only that the shortcomings were enough to dump the positives. The entire album failed to attract ears but for one song ‘Maula’. Some good one-liners saved the actors of embarrassment. Captain of the ship, the director delivered a piece that easily offered an opportunity to the audience to point fingers at him.
5 - 8969
Sometimes the narrative goes ahead to build a story for the audience that in no way compliments the story that cinematography, camera work and dialogues put together. ‘8969’ is a film that bombs in audience’s minds to put it straight.
