Shiv Sena disrupts Big Boss shooting

For the third consecutive day, Shiv Sena workers tried to disrupt the shooting of the fourth season of the reality show, Big Boss, at Lonavala. Sena leaders have given the channel officials a 48-hour ultimatum to stop shooting or they would barge into the bungalow. On Monday, Sena chief Bal Thackeray came out opposing the participation of two Pakistani nationals, actor, Veena Malik, and talk show host, Begum Nawazish Ali. 100 Sena workers from Pune gathered outside the bungalow at 11.30 am and started shouting slogans. Some of the workers tried to cross the barricades outside and clashed with the police and private security guards.Police had a tough time controlling the Sainiks. However, not a single Sainik managed to get into the bungalow because of heavy police security. The Lonavala police said as many 49 workers were detained under the Bombay Police Act and were released at noon.Sena MLA, Chandrakant Mokate, and Pune city chief, Nana Wadekar, announced the ultimatum of 48 hours while addressing the workers. We will enter the bungalow and stop the shooting if the channel does not stop it, Mokate and Wadekar said.
