A group of six young graduates are taking Beijing by storm with their Chinese take on the traditional teddy bear. The made-in and for China panda dolls can be dressed to suit all tastes, offering a range of outfits from the Chinese Cultural Revolution red guard suits of the 1960's to skimpy bikinis or Harry Potter costumes. Zheng Naiming studied in the United Kingdom and said he and his five co-founders formed Panda Town with the aim to create a cuddly toy, which Chinese people could relate to. The panda is China's national treasure, so we felt we must make great panda toys. Also, there are very few designs related to pandas in the world. Most people are not happy with the panda toys available in the market, said Zheng.
