Sunshine welcomed the crowds to West London's Gunnersbury Park as the seventh London Mela began. This annual festival included six music stages, a range of food stalls, theatrical performances and a fun fair. Freshly made food is a central part of the event which celebrates the culture of the South Asian diaspora. The main stage was dominated by Bhangra-fusion with classic dance-floor fillers mixed with dance music from the South Asian community. Famous singer Peter Andre also performed in the festival.
