23-year-old singer Adele has become the richest young British musician with a fortune of 20 mn.

According to the latest edition of the Sunday Times Rich List, the multi-Grammy winner has beaten other young stars such as JLS and Jessie J to the top spot.The latest figures, released on Thursday ahead of the full publication at the end of the month, show Adele heading the female-dominated list of the UK s richest young musicians.Cheryl Cole is second equal on the list with Leona Lewis, with each having fortunes valued at £12m.Only two of the top 10 richest young musicians are men.
