Madhuri Dixit has signed on the dotted line for Vishal Bhardwaj as the female lead in Dedh Ishqiya.

Since Madhuri returned to India, there were reports that she will replace Vidya Balan in the sequel to the 2010 hit Ishqiya. But the Bollywood diva vehemently kept denying it. Now that she has signed the film, the 44-year-old confirmed it on Twitter.She would also be judging the fifth season of dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja for the second time.Abhishek Chaubey had directed the rural drama, which opened to great reviews and box office collections. The film was produced by Vishal Bhardwaj.Madhuris last release was Aditya Chopras Aaja Nachle which did not fare well at the box office.
