HECs role commendable for education: Scholar
President International Islamic University Islamabad says the HEC is playing ideal role.
ISLAMABAD: Prof Dr Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh Tuesday said that Higher Education Commission (HEC) was playing tremendous role for promoting higher education in Pakistan.
Addressing the “11th Vice Chancellors Committee” meeting here he said that that the agenda of this meeting was very comprehensive for the progress of higher education in the country.
The meeting was chaired by Dr Javaid Laghari, Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) while rectors and Vice Chancellors of more than 68 public sector universities attended the meeting.
Professor Dr Masoom Yasinzai, Rector IIUI and Professor Dr Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh, President IIUI attended the meeting. Dr Ahmad Yousif Al-Draiweesh has also served at Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud University Saudi Arabia as a Vice Rector.
Dr Al-Draiweesh hoped that all Pakistanis universities shall play their role to provide quality education and every possible facility in the field of research to the students so that they may play their role not only in the progress of Pakistan but for the whole Muslim Ummah.
