LAHORE (Dunya News) - Police claimed to have arrested two suspects for allegedly gang-raping a schoolteacher in Liaquatabad here on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The suspects have been identified as Mohsin and Assad. According to Model Town SP Assad Ali, accused Mohsin is a security guard at the school where the rape victim teaches. He took the teacher to the house of his friend, where he gave medicine to the teacher to faint her.
During her unconsciousness, the teacher was subjected to gang rape. When she reinstated, the suspects had fled. Police registered a case on the complaint of the teacher’s father and later managed to apprehend the suspects.
SP Assad Ali said an investigation into the case was under way, vowing women’s exploitation would not be tolerated. He said the rape suspects would be brought to justice as soon as investigation completed.
