Angry mob lynches robber after death of citizen during robbery in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) – An alleged robber was beaten to death by an angry mob after a citizen was killed during a robbery in Korangi here on Monday.
Three suspected robbers intercepted a man in order to deprive him of his cash and valuables. The man allegedly resisted, leading the robbers to shoot him dead.
According to SSP Korangi, people gathered there after the sound of gunshot and managed to catch hold two bandits, whereas their third accomplice escaped.
Before the arrival of police, the angry mob lynched a robber and injured the other, who police took in custody. Police were investigating, looking at different angles.
The injured robber was admitted to hospital. Police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing robber.
