KARACHI (Dunya News) – Two terrorists of banned Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP) have been arrested in a joint operation of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police, Dunya News reported here on Sunday.
According to Sindh CTD spokesman, an intelligence based operation (IBO) was conducted in Manghopir area, which led to the arrest of high profile terrorists.
The militants identified as Ajmal and Abdul Wakeel got training from Afghanistan and are affiliated with notorious extremist Sharifullah of Afghanistan.
The arrested outlaws have been sent to an unknown location for interrogation. The security agencies are expecting valuable information from them during interrogation, which will help them to reach out to more terrorists.
Security forces have stepped up operations against the members of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarji. These terrorists are proxies of India and bent on disturbing peace in Pakistan.
