Four suspected robbers killed in exchange of fire with police in Arifwala

ARIFWALA (Dunya News) – Police on Sunday claimed to have eliminated four suspected robbers involved in a number of cases of serious crimes.

According to Crime Control Department (CCD), an exchange of fire between the CCD police and robbers took place in Adda Tarkhani when law enforcers on suspicion gave a signal to a car to stop.

The car riders instead of complying with the police order, opened fire, which was retaliated by police in a befitting manner.

‘The skirmish continued for quite some time. When the outlaws’ guns fell silent, police searched the area to find four dead bodies. In the firing, a policeman was also injured, who was admitted to hospital.

CCD claimed that the suspects were complicit in serious crimes. Looted valuables, a car and weapons have been recovered from the outlaws. Police have launched a manhunt for the fleeing
