LAHORE (Dunya News) - Crime Control Department (CCD) on Saturday claimed to have taken out two outlaws in an alleged encounter in Manga Mandi.
According to sources, when the CCD police received information about the presence of the accused, Inspector Shabbir and another team raided Manga Mandi to arrest them.
The accused started firing as soon as they saw the police party. The accused had gang-raped a 12-year-old girl and were killed during the encounter by the firing of their own accomplices. They were identified Shoaib and Zubair.
As a result of the shooting, Constable Inamdar was shot in the chest by the suspects, but remained safe due to his bulletproof vest.
It should be noted that the girl who was raped is currently undergoing treatment in hospital.
