Man guns down daughter, nephew in Quetta

QUETTA (Dunya News) – A man gunned down his daughter and nephew and fled, police said here on Tuesday.

Though police have not yet revealed the motive behind the double murder, it is suspected that the killings may be for ‘honour’.

Accused Abdul Latif called his nephew Abdul Qadir to his home, and killed him along with his 18-year daughter. Having being informed, police scrambled to the crime scene and started investigation after shifting the dead bodies to hospital for medicolegal procedures.

Police are conducting raids to apprehend the fleeing suspect. Honour killing and other reasons are under investigation.

The incident took place three days after the murder of a man and a woman in Degari allegedly on the order of Jirga for honour.
