Two groups of Bugti clan exchange fire over old enmity
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Five people were killed and four injured in an exchange of fire between two groups here on Thursday.
According to DIG South Zone Assad Raza, two groups of Bugti clan traded fire over old enmity in Khayaban-e-Nishat, Defence. As a result of the firing, five people lost their lives whereas four sustained bullet injuries.
Those killed in the firing were identified as Fahad Bugti, Nakibullah, Ali, Mir Esah and Mir Mehsam. The injured and the dead were shifted to Jinnah Hospital.
On information, police reached the crime scene and started investigation after cordoning off the area.
Further investigation was under way. Different teams were formed to track down the killers who fled after the incident.
NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW
Taking notice of the incident, Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar directed police to ensure justice to the bereaved families and establish the writ of law.

He said no one was above the law, adding there was no room for such bloody clashes in the City.
He said rule of law will be established in the province and those involved in criminal activities will be dealt with strictly.
RANGERS OUTSIDE JINNAH HOSPITAL
The Injured were shifted to Jinnah Hospital. The individuals from the warring groups gathered outside the hospital.
Rangers and police were deployed at the hospital to stop any untoward incident.
The interior minister directed the police to prevent the people from coming to hospital with weapons.
12 SUSPECTS TRACKED DOWN
On the order of Sindh IG, police have intensified raids on suspects involved in blood clash and arrested 12 suspects.
According to police, Fahad Bugti Group and Ali Hider Bugti Group had old enmity, adding further efforts were being made to ascertain the real reason for the clash, which claimed five lives.
