(Web Desk) - A Florida father admitted that he was watching YouTube in another room when his 3-month-old daughter rolled off a bed and died, police say, according to multiple reports.
According to WKMG, WESH and WFTV, which cite police, Kevin Dorgan, 44, was arrested on a charge of manslaughter.
Police allege he called authorities after discovering that his daughter had rolled off a bed and was lying facedown between the mattress on the floor and a concrete wall.
Police said that Dorgan allegedly went to another room in the home to watch YouTube videos and put the baby on the mattress with blankets and a pillow in an attempt to prevent her from rolling over.
Police alleged in an affidavit that Dorgan admitted he sometimes leaves children alone in their rooms and watches YouTube in the other room, and only checks in on them if they're "whining."
