DASKA (Dunya News) – Two persons were martyred and another suffered injuries when unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire in a mosque during Fajr prayers on Wednesday.
According to the Saddar police, the incident took place in Noor Medina Mosque in Madeki Chowk area.
Quoting eyewitnesses, police said three gunmen came to the mosque by a motorcycle and sped away after firing several rounds of bullets on the people saying Fajr (morning) prayers.
Police said the dead had been identified as Shahid and Hashim while the injured, Ahad, has been admitted to the Civil Hospital.
Police have launched an operation to arrest the attackers.
