KARACHI (Dunya News) – Robbers killed a man and his daughter in Korangi near Chamra Chorangi area on Sunday night.
Four members of a family were going somewhere by a bike when two armed men stopped them. The man tried to evade the robbers but they chased and stopped the family.
When the robbers trid to snatch valuables, the family head reportedly resisted. The armed men opened fire as a result of which the man and his daughter died on the spot.
The victim’s wife told police that her husband and daughter were shot dead by robbers on resistance. The deceased family head was identified as Tahir Zaman.
Police said the victims were residents of Shah Faisal, Azeempura. They said Zaman was a security official and police were investigating the case.
The Sindh chief minister and the IGP sought report of the double murder from police.
