Encounters took place in Karachi and Sukkur
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Four robbers were apprehended and two escaped after shootouts with police in two different incidents in Karachi and Sukkur.
In the first incident on Bashir Chowk in Super Highway area, police were alerted that some robbers were plotting to loot people.
Police after getting information reached the spot. To see the police approaching them, the outlaws opened fire at the police party from their hideout.
Police responded effectively and wounded two dacoits, who were identified as Shan Mukhtar and Bilal Zaheer.
A motorcycle, cash, mobile phones and weapons were recovered from them. Further investigation is under way.
In the second incident in Sukkur railway headquarters, two robbers were arrested after an encounter with police.
They were identified as Ghulam Haider, and Dilbar.
The accused were involved in many heinous crimes. Police are investigating.
