People voice concern over rising incidents of robbery in the city
OKARA (Dunya News) – Two robbers snatched cash and other valuables from two citizens in Model Police Station A-Division area here on Wednesday night.
Victims Adil and Zainulabedian told the police that they were going on their bike when two robbers riding on a bike intercepted them at gunpoint and snatched Rs43,000 in cash and two mobile phones from them.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.
It is relevant to mention here that a few days ago citizens and traders of the city and its suburbs had voiced concern over rising incidents of robbery and snatching.
Robbers are on the rampage in these areas, but police failed to check rising crimes in the city and the adjoining areas.
Locals have demanded the police high-ups to take notice of worsening law and order situation in Okara and its villages.
