A 12-year-old boy suffered injury after participant of a wedding ceremony opened fire in the air

KASUR (Dunya News) - A 12-year-old boy was injured after participants of wedding ceremony resorted to aerial firing in a Kasur village on late Tuesday.

According to the Kasur police, the incident took place in a private wedding hall in Sheikhum village where guests resorted to aerial firing, resulting in the injury of the 12-year-old boy identified as Imran Rizwan.

The child was hit by a bullet in the hand and was transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for treatment. The police reported that the groom managed to escape, but his two brothers were arrested.

The police further added that the individuals involved in the aerial firing had come to Sheikhum from Meer Mohammad Satoki village with the groom.
