Police arrests a dacoit in an alleged encounter in Kasur
KASUR (Dunya News) – the incidents of dacoiti are becoming more frequent in Punjab province. The police came into action and arrested an injured robber involved in several cases of robbery after an alleged encounter in Bahadurpura area of Kasur district.
According to the details, police got a complaint about a robbery by a citizen named Rasheed, the citizen told police that two robbers have robbed him and flew after taking his mobile phone and motorcycle. The police, in response to the complaint, set up a blockade near Bahadurpura. The robbers upon seeing the police blockade, opened indiscriminate fire on the police. The firing by the dacoit injured his own partner, who was arrested later.
The arrested suspect was identified as Nasir and was involved in 31 complaints of robbery and street crimes. The police recovered a stolen motorcycle from the injured suspect, the stolen motorbike was snatched from a citizen ten days ago.
However, the other robber riding the motorcycle of the complainant was successful in fleeing away from the scene. The police said, the escaped suspect has also been identified and soon will be arrested. The police has formulated raiding parties to swiftly arrest the escaped suspect.
