Family feud in Jehlum claims life of a policeman
JEHLUM (Dunya News) – A shocking incident of murder because of family feud terrified the whole neighborhood. The murder happened in the Kala-deo area of district Jehlum. The victim was a Sub-Inspector in police.
The suspect murdered his brother with the strike of a sharp weapon. According to the initial investigation, it seems like a family dispute was the driving factor for the murder. The police took the dead body into custody and later shifted it to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ).
District Police Officer (DPO) Jehlum arrived at the crime scene and said that the police have formulated raiding teams to arrest the suspect named Tahir as soon as possible. Moreover, the department will utilise all the available resources to apprehend the suspect. The police also said that raids are currently underway to arrest the suspect.
