Police arrest three accused in cop attack after encounter
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Police on Wednesday arrested three accused in cop killing in Baldia Town after they got injured during an encounter.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kemari Fida Hussian told that the accused had opened fire at patrolling cops outside Rapid Response force headquarters which left policeman Muhammad Hanif injured.
The SSP said that when the police were conducting investigation in Ittehad Town, the accused Adnan, Shehzad alias Babul, and Yasir opened fire which prompted the police to encounter them. Consequently, all of them got injured, he added.
The accused, he said, belonged to banned outfit Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) and their leader had evaded the country.
