Robbers shoot security guard in Lahore's Sabzazar area
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Robbers on Tuesday shot dead a security guard of a pharmacy at Sabzazar.
Police said some robbers stormed a pharmacy and started plundering cash and valuables. They opened fire at security guard Abdul Wahid who offered resistance and fled the scene after the looting spree. The injured guard was shifted to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police shifted the dead body for postmortem examination.
DIG operations Afzaal Kausar Lahore took notice of the incident, sought initial report from the SP concerned and ordered immediate arrest of the culprits.He directed the investigation team to seek help from the CCTV cameras of the Punjab Safe Cities Authority.
