Khadija torture case: Police recommend to conduct hearing in district jail
FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – The Faisalabad Police have sent the recommendations to conduct the hearing of Khadija torture case in the district jail.
According to the details, the main accused Sheikh Danish was beaten up by the angry mob on his court appearance, while a heavy contingent of police strategically managed to save the accused from people. There is a possibility that the accused Danish will be beaten when he appears in court again on August 23.
Therefore, the police recommended a jail trial in Khadija torture case to avoid any unusual incident. City Police Officer Umar Saeed Malik has sent the recommendations of Khadija torture case jail trial to the Regional Police Officer (RPO).
The RPO will forward the jail trial recommendations to the judicial authorities and the Home Department. After the permission of the authorities, the case will be heard in the courtroom established in District Jail Faisalabad.
It is pertinent to mention here that four accused and Sheikh Danish are to appear before the local magistrate on August 23.
