CTD arrests nine terrorists in Punjab during IBOs
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday arrested nine terrorists while conducting intelligence based operations (IBOs) in Punjab.
According to the CTD spokesperson, explosives, weapons and suicide jackets were also recovered from the arrested terrorists.
The CTD spokesperson further said that operations have been carried out in Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Multan and Rawalpindi. Meanwhile seven cases have been registered against the arrested terrorists.
The arrested terrorists include Yaqub, Arif, Abdul Samad, Bilal, Amin, Farooq and Asif, while two among them belong to Lahore.
The suspects are under investigation and important revelations are expected, added CTD spokesman.
