Peshawar Police foils attempt to assassinate detainee, arrests culprit
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The Peshawar Police on Wednesday foiled the attempt to assassinate a detainee and also arrested the culprit who opened fire.
According to police, Phandu Police was taking the accused to a hearing, when on the way the opposite party opened fired at the accused in police custody. The police official foiled the attempt and arrested the culprit. Weapons were also recovered from the arrested culprit.
SSP Operations Haroon Rashid has announced cash and commendation certificates for the police officer who showed bravery.
