Minor girl killed in exchange of fire between robbers, guards in Karachi

Case of the mishap has been registered while investigation has also been launched.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A three-year-old girl on Thursday has lost her life during an exchange of fire between robbers and guards at a mini-mart near Landhi Manzil Pump in Karachi.

According to the police, the crossfire was carried out when three dacoits left the mart after looting it.

As a result, one minor, who was passing by on a motorcycle with her elder brother, received gunshot in her head while a suspected robber also sustained wounds.

The victim girl was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital where she succumbed to the injuries. The bereaved brother has demanded the authorities to provide him justice.

Moreover, case of the mishap has been registered while investigation has also been launched to arrest the other culprits.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh has demanded the Sindh Inspector General to take notice of the incident whereas PTI’s Karachi President Khurrum Sher Zaman has also expressed grief over the death of the minor girl.
