SHUJAABAD (Dunya News) - Four armed robbers ganged-raped a bride and fled after looting five tola of gold and Rs125,000 in cash in Shujaabad.
A tragic incident of robbery and alleged gang-rape of a bride took place at a wedding house in Mochipura area of Shujaabad. The robbers stormed the house of a newly married couple and held the household hostage at gunpoint for two hours.
According to the family, 3 out of 4 robbers were clad in police uniforms, robbers held the family hostage for 2 hours and allegedly tortured the groom.
On getting information, a contingent of Shujaabad police personnel reached the spot of the crime and began collecting evidence.
The police said the couple had been taken to a hospital where the woman will undergo a medical examination to ascertain whether she was sexually abused by the armed men.
